Light 1.0 by Terry Bailey
I have been working for several years on an interactive multimedia novel, Light 1.0. The novel is written now, and I am "producing it" in its final format.
Above is the front cover art I have created for the book. And below the back cover art.
Light 1.0 will be published in print book and DVD format. The print format includes annotations and illustrations I created for each page. The DVD format also includes music and animations. Once the book is published in these formats, I will also develop a website which will house additional elements of the book.
I began writing and conceptualizing my multimedia books twenty years ago. Until just recently, I could not actually produce the novel, because the technology was not there yet. It is now! Finally! In the meantime, I have created a great deal of digital art, which you can find many samples of on this, my mediabench, website.
I am looking for an agent and publisher, and will submit excerpts of Light 1.0 to literary magazines. If these routes are not fruitful, I will begin self-publishing the novel in serial format on this website. Stay tuned.
