Charlie was away from show for two months due to heart surgery 3/31/06. The following shows include guest hosts and guests selected by his staff. The ratio of women to men went up significantly during Charlie's absence ranging from 18% to 24 %. This was still significant under-representation considering the fact that we are 51% of the population, but a remarkable improvement to Charlies usual average of 12% women since I began this count Jamuary 28, 2005 The indication, certainly, is that Mr. Rose is the person responsible for the male chauvenist/sexist bent to his own show, as his staff seems eager to include women at his table in his absence. Since this trend diverges so completely from Charlie Rose's typical show, and therefore skews the statistical analysis of his guest list, I will separate the guest list from this period from my overview of guests, and resume on a new page when Charlie returns.

CLICK HERE TO SEE THE NEXT PHASE, Part 3, OF GUEST LIST OF CHARLIE ROSE SHOW DURING HIS ABSENCE: MARCH 31, TO JUNE 9 and to celebrate the inclusion of women at the table!
